Purpose

The Prayer Warriors Team is a dedicated group of believers committed to interceding for urgent needs within our church family and community. This vital ministry ensures that prayer requests receive immediate and focused attention from faithful prayer partners.

What We Do

• Receive and pray for urgent prayer needs as they arise


• Lift up individuals, families, and situations requiring immediate spiritual support


• Stand in the gap through intercessory prayer for our church body


• Respond quickly to time-sensitive prayer requests

Commitment

Prayer Warriors agree to:

• Pray faithfully for requests as they are received


• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all prayer needs


• Remain available for urgent requests that may come outside normal hours


• Treat this ministry as a sacred privilege and responsibility

How It Works

1. Prayer requests are submitted to the church office


2. Urgent needs are sent to all Prayer Warriors via their preferred contact method


3. Team members pray for the need as soon as possible


4. Confidentiality is maintained at all times

If you feel called to this ministry of intercession, please complete the Prayer Warriors Team Covenant and submit it to the church office.

Please read this covenant carefully. By typing your name below, you are providing your digital signature and agreement to serve on the Prayer Warriors Team.

I covenant to:

1. Receive communications - I consent to receive prayer requests from Cross Point Church via text message or phone call as indicated by my preferred contact method.
   
   


2. Pray faithfully - I agree to pray for the needs that are sent to me, understanding that this is not simply a way to receive information, but rather an important and vital ministry of our church. I accept the privilege and responsibility of interceding for others.
   
   


3. Be available - I understand that I will receive prayer requests via my preferred contact method; however, there may be times when urgent needs require a phone call regardless of my preferred method.
   
   


4. Respond to urgent needs - I understand that prayer requests are normally sent between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM. However, I acknowledge that truly urgent needs may be sent outside these hours, and I agree to receive and pray for these critical requests.
   
   


5. Maintain confidentiality - I understand that all prayer needs shared through the Prayer Warriors Team are to be kept strictly confidential. I will not share these requests or any details with others outside the prayer chain.
   
   


6. Freedom to step down - I understand that I may opt out of the Prayer Warriors Team at any time by contacting the church office at (304) 252-6684.
